Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Who we are

STEELNEX SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (Single Member Private Company, I.K.E.), 22 Dodekanisou Street, 54626 Thessaloniki, Greece. For privacy questions, contact info@steelnex.gr.

2. Information we process

When you email us, we may receive your name, business email address, company name, product requirements and any information you choose to include. Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs when delivering this website.

3. How the enquiry form works

The form prepares a message in your own email application. It does not send the entered information to a Steelnex website server. Your email application or provider handles the message when you choose to send it. Steelnex receives and processes the enquiry only when the email is sent and delivered.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We use enquiries to respond to requests, discuss products, prepare quotations and manage business relationships. Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary for steps toward a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing commercial communications (Article 6(1)(f)). We may also retain records where required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).

5. Service providers and international transfers

We use Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) to receive, store and manage business emails. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect the website. These providers may engage subprocessors and may process or access personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where an international transfer requires safeguards, applicable mechanisms may include European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, as appropriate. Details depend on the providers' applicable terms and configurations. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention of information

Our intended retention schedule is: ordinary enquiries that do not lead to a transaction, up to five years after the last meaningful communication; contractual or legally significant business correspondence, up to twenty years where a documented assessment justifies that period; and invoices or accounting records, for the periods required by applicable law. Where litigation or a dispute is underway or reasonably anticipated, relevant records may be preserved under a legal hold for as long as necessary. These are intended limits, not a statement that automatic deletion is currently configured: at present, Microsoft 365 emails are generally kept until manually deleted. We are reviewing and implementing the schedule. We will not retain every enquiry for twenty years solely because a dispute is theoretically possible.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. Contact info@steelnex.gr to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

8. Cookies and technical data

This website uses standard Cloudflare Pages hosting and does not currently use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, advertising pixels or other optional analytics tools. The website code does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may still process technical request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce tracking technologies, we will review applicable notice and consent requirements before enabling them.

9. Additional information

Providing your contact details is voluntary, but without a working email address and sufficient information about your request we may be unable to respond. We do not use enquiries for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not currently identify a designated Data Protection Officer; privacy requests can be sent to info@steelnex.gr. You may withdraw a request or ask us to stop correspondence, subject to lawful retention requirements. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to the processing under GDPR Article 21.

10. Updates

We may update this notice when our website, providers or data-processing practices change. The version published here is dated 28 October 2026.
